Graduating from Rutgers University with an MBA in Finance and an undergraduate BA degree in Economics from Waynesburg University, Douglas Miller has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He currently holds a Series 63, 66 and is Life, Accident & Health and Disability licensed and variable contracts licensed. He is also an AIF, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
Douglas enjoys analyzing and understanding the big picture to be sure that all aspects of a clients’ financial life are coordinated effectively – including Estate and Income Tax Reduction, Retirement Income Analysis, Asset Protection, Investment Allocation, Wealth Transfer and Risk Management. He specializes in designing prudent strategies that help reduce clients’ income tax liability, increase their retirement income, grow and help protect assets, and structure their estates to successfully retain wealth within the family through multiple generations.
Douglas was born in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in New Jersey. After college, he moved to Colorado and settled in Arizona in 1989. He and his “better half”, Jane, have been together for over 30 years. They enjoy dining venues, travelling, and sharing time with their sons in New Jersey, Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Being an avid hiker and mountain biker, he spends a week in Moab, Utah every spring. He has completed this trip 25 times so far! Douglas also enjoys time with his rescue dog, Sola Vena and is involved with the Arizona Humane Society, the Arizona Welfare League, and the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center.
